Rasik Hussain

Infrastructure Analyst

Rasik is an analyst for the Infrastructure Team at Arnold Ventures. In this role, he assists initiatives that build vital infrastructure, including clean energy, abundant and affordable housing, and transportation infrastructure.

Prior to joining AV, Rasik worked for ECONorthwest, where he served as an associate in the Urban Systems Division. In that role he conducted policy research and spatial analysis on housing, infrastructure, and energy projects in California, Oregon, and Washington. He also previously served as a policy analyst to the infrastructure teams of Mayor Karen Bass and former Mayor Eric Garcetti in Los Angeles. Here he coordinated the Mayor’s Water Cabinet, a vehicle to help city departments share best practices on water conservation policy and served as the policy liaison to the Bureau of Street Lighting.

Rasik was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles for his undergraduate degree and returned to attend the Luskin School for Public Affairs. He also holds a graduate certificate from California State University, Sacramento’s Executive Fellowship program.
