Joshua B. Gordon
Josh Gordon leads Arnold Ventures’ efforts to promote Medicare sustainability and reform health care payment policy to improve patients’ outcomes and experiences, while reducing waste and excessive costs. Since 2025, he has provided policy guidance and strategic advice to the Health Care team at Arnold Ventures.
Before joining AV, Josh was the director of health policy for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. While there, he also led the Health Savers Initiative, which worked to identify bold and concrete policy proposals to make health care more affordable. Prior to that, he was the policy director of The Concord Coalition, a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to educating the public about federal budget issues and their consequences for the future.
Josh was a research advisor for the Sundance Film Festival Documentary I.O.U.S.A. (2008), and has served as an adjunct professor for the Milken Institute School of Public Health and the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University.
Josh received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
