Wellesley Fraser

Wellesley Fraser leads the Accounting team at Arnold Ventures. In that role, she plans and directs all accounting operational functions, compiles and manages internal and external financial reporting and budgeting, and ensures compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations.

Wellesley comes to Arnold Ventures with more than 15 years of experience in accounting. She started her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, primarily focused on external audits for nonprofit companies, and finished in the Transaction Services group, performing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence. After business school, Wellesley transitioned to the education sector as the director of finance for YES Prep Public Schools, where she led the accounting team, supporting the dramatic growth of schools and students. She most recently served as the controller for a large family office, where she was responsible for accounting, budgeting, and tax matters for more than 20 related, legally separate entities.

Wellesley holds an inactive certified public accountant license in the state of California, a master’s degree of business administration from University of California Haas Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in business from Boston College.
