Asa Craig

Asa Craig leads strategic initiatives for Arnold Ventures. In this role, he advises the co-founders and the president and CEO on strategy, planning, management, metrics, public policy, and politics.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Asa was an associate on the general practice team at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he worked on a range of matters spanning the corporate governance, capital markets, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and crisis management teams. He brings more than 10 years of legal and policy experience to the organization, which includes federal and state government and the nonprofit sector. Prior to graduate school, Asa served as an education research and policy analyst and venture development manager at the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.
Asa holds a law degree from Yale Law School, a master’s degree in public affairs in domestic public policy from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs, and a bachelor’s degree in government and Africana studies from Cornell University, where he served as the only undergraduate student on Cornell University’s Board of Trustees.
