Karla Sainz

Karla provides leadership for the People and Culture team as vice president of talent and engagement, where she is responsible for hiring and supporting employees across the organization. Before joining the People and Culture team, Karla spent a decade in grantmaking roles across the organization.

Before her work with Arnold Ventures, Karla provided research and outreach support for the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition (PICC), where she advocated for legislative change on immigrants’ rights and was an integral part of the management team of the Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations of Philadelphia.

Karla holds a bachelor's degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela, and a master's degree in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
