Jules Sproul
Jules Sproul provides strategic support and manages Arnold Ventures’ Career Education and Training portfolio. In her role, she manages grants, establishes investment opportunities, and supports policy research and analysis to identify and scale programs and policies that help Americans access good jobs, meaningful careers, and economic mobility.
Prior to joining Arnold Ventures, Jules served as a policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development where she oversaw strategy and execution for the K-12 and higher education grant portfolios. Her work spanned key issues such as fostering more inclusive environments for students with disabilities, providing supportive and accessible professional development opportunities for educators, and initiatives to support the recruitment and retention of America’s educator workforce. Before this role, Jules served in the U.S. Senate as a legislative assistant for Senator Jon Ossoff and as a legislative fellow for Senator Bob Casey, where she advised on education, healthcare, and appropriations issues. Previously, she was a third-grade educator and an academic coach for students with disabilities transitioning to postsecondary education.
Jules earned master’s degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Johns Hopkins and a bachelor’s from University of Massachusetts Amherst. In her free time, Jules enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, boxing, and reading.
