Angela Landers

Angela develops and executes integrated communications strategies that support Arnold Ventures’ mission and vision, with a focus on advocacy, public relations engagement, and issues management. She brings deep expertise in the field of philanthropy and extensive collaboration with public policy experts, both federally and at the state level.

Angela has more than two decades of experience in executive communications, media relations, philanthropy, and impact investing. Before joining Arnold Ventures, she spent 14 years at communications firm GMMB, where she worked across a variety of public policy issues with trade associations, nonprofits, and foundations. During this time, she supported and advised several current and former Fortune 500 CEOs on their philanthropic investments in climate change, biomedical and mental health research, public health, and education.

Prior to her role at a communications agency, Angela acted as a spokesperson for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, as well as a Communications Director in the U.S. House of Representatives. She also served in the George W. Bush Administration alongside U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings at the U.S. Department of Education.
