Health Care Manager
Amber helps manage Arnold Ventures’ low-value care portfolio. Her work includes identifying robust philanthropic opportunities, as well as policy research and analysis, to reduce the provision of low-value care and increase efficiency in the health care system.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Amber was the Public Policy Director at the Colorado Hospital Association, where she was responsible for developing the state and federal policy-related strategy for Colorado hospitals and health systems. Prior to that, she worked at the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, a Denver-based advocacy group, providing research and policy analysis support on key issues impacting health care consumers. Before that, Amber worked at ClinicNET where she coordinated an annual advocacy event devoted to educating policymakers about the important role safety net and rural health clinics play in Colorado’s health care system.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in international political economy and minor in global health from Colorado College. She will graduate in 2021 from her double executive master's in health policy from the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics.
