As Director of Administrative Operations, Amanda ensures that the administration team is providing robust, thoughtful, and proactive support to Arnold Venture’s leadership and organization.
Amanda comes to AV with 20 years of experience in management of non-profit organizations mainly in the healthcare field. She served as administrator for Baylor College of Medicine, Global Health, where she oversaw a multi-disciplinary team that worked with medical faculty, research institutes, and nongovernmental organizations focused on delivering maternal health, mental health, non-communicable diseases, and health security services in low-resourced parts of the world. Prior to this position, Amanda lived in Switzerland and worked as Director of Administrative Research and helped lead Aarau Hospital from an affiliate to main member status in the global NRG Oncology Network. She also held various research administration positions in radiation oncology and symptom research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Amanda received her master’s in liberal arts from Harvard University focusing on management of non-profit organizations and in addition holds a dual bachelor’s in fine arts and anthropology from Indiana University.
Amanda enjoys multiple disciplines of competitive cycling and finds enjoyment participating in charity cycling events with her husband, supporting a good cause, and enjoying the outdoors.
