Chris Vences
As part of the People & Culture team, Chris provides functional and tactical support with managing the onboarding process, all payroll functions, benefits-related matters, insurance billing, maintaining the HRIS system and files, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Chris worked overseas in the Middle East (Southwest Asia) as a Department of Defense employee in support of U.S. Military operations. Prior to that, Chris served as a Human Resources Manager at Heart of Texas Goodwill, where he led a team managing full-spectrum HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compliance, recruitment/onboarding, unemployment claims administration, and employee relations/performance management.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Tarleton State University and is slated to achieve his Master of Business Administration degree by the end of 2025.
