Clare McCann
Director of Higher Education
Clare provides expertise and strategic advice as the director of higher education for the team's work related to higher education data, accountability, effective practices, and financing.
Before joining Arnold Ventures, Clare worked as a senior policy advisor for the U.S. Department of Education on issues related to higher education in both the Office of the Under Secretary and the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development. She also previously worked with New America’s Higher Education Program, conducting research and analysis related to education beyond high school, particularly on data transparency, accountability, and federal financial aid.
Clare holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, with a focus in public policy from George Washington University.
