I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and that your week is off to a great start! It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end and that it’s already time to kick off the 2025 end-of-year (EOY) evaluation process. On that note, here is an overview of what to expect this year.
As we reflected on how we approached this work in 2024 and where we could continue to refine and enhance things in 2025, we landed on the following themes:
- End-of-year evaluations should serve as a reflection of the ongoing performance and development conversations you have been having, not as a standalone event
- Updated evaluation forms should provide greater direction and clarity for individual contributors and people managers and allow for more consistent experiences across AV
- Expanded resources and guidance shouldenhance transparency and ensure individual contributors and people managers are informed as they participate in the process
- The need to move toward a more automated process using Microsoft Forms and DocuSign
As part of the enhancements we are making this year, you can use the link below to submit your self-evaluation form on or before September 19. No more Word documents or email attachments.
Additionally, we prepared the attached FAQs and performance ratings supplement, and we will host a 2025 EOY Evaluation Overview session via Zoom on Monday, September 8 at 12 noon Central. Copies of these resources and a link to the Zoom session will be shared via Slack and uploaded to the AV intranet. If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to Karla, Lauren, or me.
One final note – A big thanks to Frank Arnold, Esteban Mejia, and Megan Kimmitt for their collaborative engagement in this process. The new Microsoft Forms workflow and the AV-branded resources would not have been possible without them.
