Stephanie provides project management and strategic support to the Criminal Justice team. She also helps to identify and manage philanthropic opportunities for the Criminal Justice portfolio. Prior to joining Arnold Ventures, Stephanie worked as a program director for The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center, a national nonprofit organization that provides practical, nonpartisan, research-driven strategies and tools to increase public safety and strengthen communities.
At CSG Justice Center, she focused on the intersection of criminal justice and employment and collaborated with stakeholders to collect data and drive systems-level change. She also oversaw large-scale initiatives, such as the development of a national database of state statutes related to criminal record sealing and expungement.
Stephanie began her career as a practitioner and provided direct services and case management to adults returning from incarceration. She received her master’s in social work from Columbia University School of Social Work and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
