Leya Mohsin

Leya provides administrative, analytical, and operational support to the Evidence-Based Policy team.

Before joining Arnold Ventures, Leya worked in education. She spent three years serving her community as a high school mathematics teacher, and was a Teach for America corps member. During her undergraduate years, she interned at the U.S. Department of Education, providing strategic support to the Magnet Schools Assistance Program. She also served as an intern with the development team at the Baker Institute for Public Policy, working to identify supporters of the institute’s programs and helping to execute events with influential policymakers.

Leya holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and policy studies from Rice University, and is currently working towards a master’s in education policy and leadership at American University.
