Chase manages Arnold Ventures’ higher education portfolio and is a member of the Policy and Advocacy team.
He develops higher education grants and supports efforts to integrate research findings into the policy-making process. Before joining Arnold Ventures, he promoted evidence-based policymaking and support for college students as a policy analyst and adviser at the U.S. Department of Education, the White House Domestic Policy Council, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Chase holds a law degree from Yale Law School and a bachelor’s degree in classics and economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Before law school, Chase served as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in St. Louis, Missouri.
