Arnold Ventures is seeking a professional and motivated individual who can serve as Desktop Support Analyst and provide Information Technology support for the Washington, D.C. office.

Core Responsibilities

The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting Arnold Ventures staff with their needs, including, but not limited to, tasks such as the following:

  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop and network problems for end-users, and implement corrective solutions
  • Receive and respond to issues reported via tickets, calls, and e-mails and deliver resolutions within required service-level agreements
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Collaborate with network technicians & administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company’s technology infrastructure
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of PCs, monitors, laptops, computer peripherals, etc.

Essential Skills, Experience, & Qualities

  • At least three years of experience as an I.T. Support Representative
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Products and Exchange, Citrix solutions, & Active Directory; Bachelor’s Degree in technology related field or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • Positive, professional, team-oriented, and mission-driven attitude
  • Proactive, curious, adaptable, and open to embracing new challenges
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
